We are committed to ensuring local Townsville students have all they need to get the right start to school.

Fuel for Schools is the brainchild of friends Paula Pool, a local PT, and Demelza Gardem, a local teacher. The charity supports primary school and high school students with supplies and breakfast items. We are committed to ensuring local school students have all they need to get the right start to school.

Help us make a difference

Some children don’t have access to the basic items they need when starting school. Fuel for Schools Ltd is committed to ensuring local Townsville primary school and high school students have access to essential schooling items such as backpacks, lunch boxes, water bottles and new socks. The charity program also focuses on helping kids start their day right by providing a nutritional breakfast to assist with cognitive function and improve their wellbeing.

Just wanted to let you know that our teachers are starting to notice a difference in learning and behaviour now that our students are starting their days with full bellies. As of today, over this term, our students have access this service 1,684 times – so thank you again for providing supplies to make this possible.
